Music 4 U Online offers a wide range of Music CDs, DVDs and Movie DVDs. Music 4 U Online gives you a relaxed interactive shopping environment with specialised stock, secure credit card transactions and exceptional customer service.

Acceptance of terms

The Company permits the use of this Website subject to the Terms and Conditions ("Terms and Conditions"). By using this Website in any way, you shall be deemed to have accepted all the Terms and Conditions unconditionally.

Use of the Website

You may only use the Website to purchase product if you are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, you may use the Website for information purposes only.

You agree that you will not use any device, software or other instrument to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of this Website. In addition, you agree that you will not use any robot, spider, other automatic device, or manual process to monitor, copy, distribute or modify the Website or the information contained herein, without the prior written consent from an authorised Company representative (such consent is deemed given for standard search engine technology employed by Internet search websites to direct Internet users to this Website).

You may not use the Website to distribute material which is defamatory, offensive, contains or amounts to hate speech or is otherwise unlawful.

You may not display, publish, copy, print, post or otherwise use the Website and/or the information contained therein for the benefit of any other website without the express prior written consent of an authorised Company representative.

Personal Information obtained via the Website will only be used by Music 4 U for market related research or marketing.

These Terms and Conditions do not apply to those Third Party Websites and the Company is not responsible for the practices and/or privacy policies of those Third Party Websites or the cookies that those sites may use.

Notwithstanding the fact that this website may refer to or provide links to third party websites, your use of such Third Party Websites is entirely at your own risk and we are not responsible for any loss, expense, claim or damage, whether direct, indirect or consequential, arising from your use of such Third Party Websites or your reliance on any information contained thereon.

Payment

Payment can be made via the Website using the below payment methods.

Subsequently, you Credit Card details are encrypted when they are transmitted to us and are stored in a secure environment.

Please note, in an effort to clamp down on fraudulent purchases: we reserve the right to request a copy of your Identity Document and the front and back of your signed Credit Card.

Returns

We guarantee your satisfaction with all Music 4 U Online merchandise. You may return any faulty or damaged item within 30 days of delivery for a replacement of the title you bought - provided we are notified within 48 hours of you receiving the goods.

Please email info@music4u.co.za or call 012 548 2425 to notify the online team about your returns request.

We will look up your order with the order number and check if we have a replacement item in stock. If we do, we will courier the replacement item to you and at the same time collect the faulty item.

If we do not have more stock of the item, we can either offer you a refund or we can order the item from the supplier. If we go ahead with the order we will let you know the estimated arrival and delivery of the ordered item.

If you receive a product that was damaged in shipping, please email us at info@music4u.co.za .

Please include your order number in all correspondence.

Prices

The prices displayed are inclusive of 14% VAT, but exclude delivery costs. Though we endeavour to ensure that the prices displayed on the website are accurate, we offer several thousand products for sale at any time and it is impossible for us to monitor the prices of each individual product manually.

While we go to great lengths to ensure that the prices we display are accurate, we are reliant on our suppliers for providing accurate pricing information and as a result it is possible that erroneous prices may be displayed from time to time. In such cases, we shall not be obliged to sell the product at the erroneous price, and will correct erroneous prices as soon as we become aware of them.

As part of our service, we source products from local and international suppliers and the prices we display for products on our website will fluctuate with exchange rates, and as our suppliers change their stock holdings and pricing.

Displaying a price on the website does not constitute any undertaking by us to maintain that price for any length of time. We will always endeavour to complete your order at the price quoted at the time that the order was placed, but in cases of erroneous pricing or where our suppliers deplete their reserves of specially priced stock, we may quote you on new pricing or offer you a refund depending on the situation.

At any given time, Music 4 U may have promotions and specials that run in-store and some online. Many will be specific to the online store and others to in-store only.

Prices indicated online are not the same as in-store. Prices are exclusive to the Online store.

Agreement of sale

Placing a product in your trolley does not constitute an order for that product and we cannot be held liable if the product is no longer available, or if the price has changed by the time the checkout process is completed.

An agreement of sale comes into effect when either a credit card authorisation is received from the issuing bank, or a bank transfer is reflected on our bank statement. We reserve the right to cancel an order at any point in time without giving any reasons. In this case, we shall be liable to refund any money already paid in respect of that order.

Please note that due to the nature of our business and the types of product that we stock, our website does not reflect product being available. Therefore we would inform you within 24 hours (during weekdays) if the product is not available immediately. If you order multiple copies of the same item, we may not be able to supply additional items at the same price, within the same time frame, or in some cases, at all. Please feel free to check availability with us prior to placing an order that includes multiple copies.

Should you wish to cancel all or part of an order, please send your cancellation request to info@music4u.co.za, however please note that we may not be able to cancel items from an order if they have already been dispatched by our suppliers.

Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to a typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. We shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, we shall immediately issue a refund request to your bank account in the amount of the charge.

Delivery and Delivery Charges

  • Inside South Africa

All deliveries within South Africa are charged at R30 per parcel and will be send by Express Mail via SA Post Office and should reach your nearest Post Office within 4 – 5 days! These fees are however subject to change at the discretion of the courier company.

Various factors beyond our control can delay the estimated delivery time of a shipment and it is for this reason that delivery times cannot be guaranteed. We will however endeavour to process all orders as quickly as possible to ensure a prompt and reliable service.

  • Outside South Africa:

We do accept foreign credit cards for payment but we will only deliver a package abroad via Air Mail and only to individual customers.

Best online advice

Should you wish to have Music 4 U find a product for you that is not listed on our site, you may request it using the link on the "Click Here to e-mail your request" at the bottom of each page and an email will be sent to our online store representatives. They will retrieve the relevant information on availability and costs, and get back to you timeously.

Please note that special orders and requests on some "hard to find" titles may take anything from 3 weeks to 3 months to finalise, based on availability of the item. The majority of special orders however are generally dispatched in 4-6 weeks.
